Description
Senior Project Manager – High-Spec Fit-Out (Finance Sector)
London – Canary Wharf & City of London
£75k - £90k + Package | Interviews This Week | Start ASAP

The Company
We’re working with a well-established and fast-growing Principal Contractor who deliver high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across London, particularly in the commercial, finance, and corporate sectors. With a turnover projected to exceed £60m and a strong in-house team of trades and construction professionals, they’ve built a reputation for delivering complex, high-spec projects on time and to the highest standards.

This is an exciting time to join the business, with multiple new projects due to start and several more in the pipeline. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a key fit-out project in Canary Wharf – with interviews taking place as soon as tomorrow.

The Role – Senior Project Manager:
You will take full ownership of a two-and-a-half-floor CAT B fit-out in a finance-sector office building. This will include full management of all subcontract packages, client liaison, programme management, health & safety, and driving quality across every aspect of the project.

This is just one of several upcoming schemes, so this isn’t a one-off contract – the business is looking for someone long-term who can become a key part of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and deliver fit-out projects from pre-start through to handover
• Oversee subcontractors, internal site teams, and key stakeholders
• Chair progress, coordination and client meetings
• Ensure HSQE standards are fully implemented and maintained
• Drive programme, monitor progress, and proactively manage risks
• Maintain high site standards and ensure quality delivery at every stage
• Work closely with commercial and design teams to ensure full alignment
• Maintain accurate site documentation, records and reports
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements for the Senior Project Manager:
• Extensive experience delivering CAT A / CAT B commercial fit-outs
• Strong track record working with main contractors or specialist fit-out firms
• Excellent knowledge of H&S, CDM, quality standards, and programme management
• Strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills
• SMSTS & CSCS (Manager) essential
• Experience using Procore or similar platforms desirable
• Detail-focused with a passion for delivering excellence

What’s On Offer:
• Salary £75k - £85k + package (negotiable depending on experience)
• Private healthcare, dental, life insurance & pension
• Opportunity to join an Employee-Owned Trust after 12 months
• Stable pipeline of upcoming London-based projects
• Brilliant internal culture and genuine long-term prospects
