Our client is a leading main contractor specializing in high-end residential and commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects. Known for their attention to detail and commitment to quality, they’ve built an outstanding reputation over the last five years.
 
Led by directors with 50+ years of combined industry experience, this is a company that values expertise, teamwork, and innovation. They are now seeking Site Managers with trade experience to support their growing portfolio of projects.

Your Role as Site Manager / No.2 on Site:

You’ll be responsible for day-to-day site operations, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key leadership role on-site while building your career with a dynamic and forward-thinking contractor.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Site Operations:

• Oversee daily site activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Support the Project Manager in managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to design specifications and construction plans.
• Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ensure all work meets the company’s high standards for quality and craftsmanship.

Health and Safety:

• Uphold the highest health and safety standards on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Address and resolve any health and safety concerns promptly.

Leadership and Teamwork:

• Act as the No.2 on-site, providing leadership and support to site teams and subcontractors.
• Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
• Resolve on-site issues and make decisions to maintain project momentum.

What We’re Looking For:

• A trade background with proven experience as a Site Manager in high-end residential and commercial refurbishment/fit-out projects.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• A solid understanding of construction methods, regulations, and health and safety standards.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
